The birds\u2019 welfare must ALWAYS come first<\/h3>\n

For our activity to be respectful towards nature it must be consistent with it and its inhabitants, so our presence should not be an inconvenience for the birds and, should it put them at risk, or disturb them in any way, we must withdraw.<\/p>\n

The birds\u2019 “home” (habitat) must be protected<\/h3>\n

It is vital for their existence, and as respectful as our behaviour must be with the birds, it must also be respectful of their habitat. Therefore:<\/p>\n

\u2022\tLeave no kind of waste or litter.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tDo not damage the flora or other natural features of the environment, neither collecting, nor moving or removing anything from the place.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tBe careful where you walk, remain on paths and tracks straying as little as possible from them.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tAvoid making loud noises and speak quietly so as not to disturb wildlife or other watchers.

Do not influence or alter the behaviour of the birds<\/h3>\n

There are times when birds are particularly sensitive; when they are nesting, when they are migrating, when they are resting, when they are weak. Therefore, we must keep a prudent distance. If we keep still and do not interfere, the birds will most likely surprise us. Remember:<\/p>\n

\u2022\tWhen they are nesting, we should not approach them, if we find a nest or chick which has escaped from the nest, we should not pick it up or even touch it. <\/p>\n

\u2022\tIf lures are used to attract birds during the mating season, we are insistently and repeatedly exposing them to danger.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tWhen birds are migrating, they come to our sites to feed and rest, to continue their journey. Therefore, respecting these moments is also fundamental for the birds’ well-being.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tBird roosts must be considered as important as resting or nesting sites.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tWhen a bird is weak, any effort to flee from our presence could be fatal because it uses up its last energy, so we must keep our distance. If an injured bird is spotted, call 112 (emergency services), and they will take care of it.\n<\/p>\n

As with sensitive species, we should be extremely cautious with how we handle information about them. We suggest that you allow us to have your data to be able to protect the bird in question, and to be cautious when disseminating it, as excessive attendance or concentration of birders could be detrimental to its wellbeing. Recordemos siempre cu\u00e1l debe ser nuestro c\u00f3digo de conducta para la observaci\u00f3n de las aves y desde Roquetas BirdWatching<\/strong> nos adherimos al que ha promovido la organizaci\u00f3n de estudio y conservaci\u00f3n de referencia en nuestro pa\u00eds:<\/p>

  1. El bienestar de las aves debe ser SIEMPRE lo primero<\/strong>. Nuestra actividad para que sea respetuosa con la naturaleza ha de ser consecuente con ella y sus seres, por lo que nuestra presencia no debe ser un inconveniente para las aves y en caso de ponerlas en riesgo, molestarlas, debemos retirarnos.<\/li><\/ol>

    \u00a0<\/p>

    1. La \u201ccasa\u201d (h\u00e1bitat) de las aves debe ser protegida<\/strong>. Es vital para su existencia, igualmente lo respetuosos que ha de ser nuestro comportamiento con las aves, lo ha de ser con su h\u00e1bitat. Por ello:
      • No abandonaremos ning\u00fan tipo de desperdicio.<\/li>
      • No da\u00f1aremos la flora ni otros elementos naturales del entorno, ni recolectando, ni movi\u00e9ndonos o desplaz\u00e1ndonos del lugar.<\/li>
      • Cuidado por d\u00f3nde pisamos, trataremos de permanecer\u00e9 en sendas y pistas y pisaremos lo menos posible fuera de ellas.<\/li>
      • Evitaremos ser ruidosos sin emitir sonidos fuertes y hablaremos en voz baja para no molestar a la fauna ni a otros observadores.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>

        \u00a0<\/p>

        1. No influir ni alterar el comportamiento de las aves<\/strong>. Hay momentos en el que las aves son especialmente sensibles, cuando est\u00e1n nidificando, cuando se desplazan en los movimientos migratorios, cuando descansan, cuando est\u00e1n d\u00e9biles. Por ello debemos mantener una distancia prudencial. Si nos mantenemos quietos y no interferimos, lo m\u00e1s posible es que el ave nos sorprenda. Recordemos:
          • Cuando est\u00e1n nidificando<\/strong>, no debemos acercarnos a ellas, si encontramos un nido o un pollo fugado den nido, no debemos recogerlo ni tocarlo.<\/li>
          • Si se utiliza reclamos para atraer aves en \u00e9poca de celo<\/strong>, lo que conseguimos haci\u00e9ndolo de forma insistente y reiterativa es exponerlas a los peligros.<\/li>
          • Cuando las aves est\u00e1n migrando<\/strong>, acuden a nuestros lugares para alimentarse y descansar, para poder continuar con su viaje. Por lo tanto, respetar esos momentos es fundamental tambi\u00e9n para el bienestar de las aves.<\/li>
          • Los dormideros<\/strong> de aves, tienen que tener la misma consideraci\u00f3n que los lugares de descanso o nidificaci\u00f3n.<\/li>
          • Cuando un ave est\u00e1 d\u00e9bil, cualquier esfuerzo para huir de nuestra presencia puede ser fatal por consumir su \u00faltima energ\u00eda, debemos guardar la distancia. Si el ave est\u00e1 herida, debemos llamar al 112, ellos se encargar\u00e1n.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>

            \u00a0<\/p>

            1. Cuando se aviste una especie en peligro, hay que tener prudencia con la difusi\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n<\/strong> Algunas veces, difundir los datos de observaci\u00f3n puede poner en peligro a la especie observada, para evitarlo hemos de tener un juicio cr\u00edtico y ser muy cautos. Utilizando el canal de difusi\u00f3n de Roquetas BirdWatching<\/strong>, nosotros nos encargamos de difundir la observaci\u00f3n con la debida cautela y prudencia.<\/li><\/ol>

              \u00a0<\/p>

              1. No acosar a las especies divagante ni rarezas. <\/strong>Igualmente que para las especies sensibles, se ha de ser muy cauto, por lo que sugerimos que nos permitas disponer de tus datos para proteger al ave en cuesti\u00f3n, ya que una excesiva asistencia o concentraci\u00f3n de observadores puede ser perjudicial para el ave. De la misma manera ofreceremos los canales adecuados para que la cita sea considerada por el \u201cComit\u00e9 de Rarezas\u201d o de \u201cAves Ex\u00f3ticas\u201d de Espa\u00f1a.<\/li><\/ol>

                \u00a0<\/p>

                1. Respetar la normativa sobre la protecci\u00f3n de las aves<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

                  \u00a0<\/p>

                  1. Respeto de los derechos de los propietarios particulares. <\/strong>Nuestra actividad no nos confiere la prevalencia sobre las titularidades de las fincas. Si tenemos alguna duda, lo mejor es preguntar. Se ha de utilizar los circuitos de uso p\u00fablico dise\u00f1ados al efecto.<\/li><\/ol>

                    \u00a0<\/p>

                    1. Respetar los derechos de las personas en las zonas de observaci\u00f3n.<\/strong> Los dem\u00e1s tienen los mismos derechos que nosotros, el respeto mutuo nos permite un mayor disfrute de la naturaleza y su avifauna en particular.<\/li><\/ol>

                      \u00a0<\/p>

                      1. Comparte tus citas con otros observadores locales.<\/strong> La uni\u00f3n hace la fuerza, y muchos de los conocimientos actuales sobre las aves proceden de muchas observaciones. Contribuir a ese conocimiento es contribuir a la protecci\u00f3n. Compartiendo con nosotros a trav\u00e9s del canal de observaciones, lo llevamos a donde ser\u00e1 \u00fatil.<\/li><\/ol>

                        1. Comp\u00f3rtate como te gustar\u00eda que otros se comportaran en tu zona<\/strong>.
